File services must be available before you can start the Web server. For more information, see Starting and stopping the file server.
To start Web services:

Open Mac OS Server Admin and log on to the server you want to administer. |

Press the Web Services button and choose Start Web Server. |

Making your Web site available on the Internet:
You need to turn on guest access if you want anyone on your network or the Internet (if you are connected to it) to view your Web site without giving a name or password.
To make your Web site accessible to anyone on the Internet:

Open Mac OS Server Admin and log on to the server you want to administer. |

Press the Web Services button and choose Configure Web Server. |

In the General panel, select "Allow Guest access." |

Make sure that you have assigned access privileges (other than None) to the Everyone category for your Web folder. |

Click Save and close the Web Server Settings window. |
